Următoarele două piese le- am ascultat în seara asta aici şi pot spune că îmi plac la nebunie. Asta e prima oară când aud de tipul ăsta şi o să vă zic şi vouă câte ceva despre el.
Jumătate italian, jumătate scoţian s-a născut pe 8 ianuarie `87 în Paisley. Singing-ul (ştiu, puteam să spun “cântatul”, dar nu-mi place cum sună) i-a fost predat timp de 3 ani şi jumătate de către Avril McCusker, iar apoi şi-a petrecut 3 ani de zile învăţând despre afacerea muzicală şi live performing, atât singur cât şi alături de Dome and Dick de la Dongues.
Genurile muzicale abordate de el sunt: folk rock, indie-pop, pop- rock şi blue eyed soul. Albumul său de debut- These Streets a fost lansat în 2006, pe 17 iulie, album ce a fost prodes de Ken Nelson (acesta a mai lucrat şi cu Gomez şi Coldplay). Albumul a cunoscut un succes mai mult decât decent, intrând pe locul 3 în UK album charts. Multe dintre piesele sale au fost inspirate de relaţiile sale. De exemplu, “Last request” şi “Rewind” au fost inspirate de turbulenta sa relaţie cu iubita lui Teri Brogan, iar relaţia sa cu o femeie mai în vârstă a fost sursă de inspiraţie pentru piesa “Jenny don`t be hasty”.
Al doilea album- Sunny side up a fost produs de el însuşi în 2009, pe 1 iunie. Printre single-urile cunoscute se enumeră “Last Request” (2006), “Jenny Don’t Be Hasty” (2006), “Rewind” (2006), “New Shoes” (2007), “Candy” (2009), “Coming Up Easy” (2009).
